Homelessness Week 2023 - Join Us at Our Free Public Events

Homelessness Week 2023 & Beneath the Surface

Throughout Homelessness Week 2023, join us at one of our many free public events. Hosted by local governments throughout the Perth Metropolitan area, Beneath the Surface AU and Matt Vapor are presenting a number of free public talks and workshops focusing on issues surrounding homelessness.

During Homelessness Week 2023, we’ve partnered with the City of Subiaco, City of Mandurah, City of Wanneroo, and the City of Bayswater to bring a mix of educational events that outline experiences of homelessness while educating and advocating for appropriate responses to the current rental and cost of living crisis. All events conclude with an open and honest Q&A session with Matt Vapor.

Registration is required as tickets are limited.

More About Beneath the Surface Events and Workshops:

Beneath the Surface provide lived experience events for a variety of different organisations. In doing so, we utilise Matt Vapor’s story to raise awareness about domestic abuse and violence, homelessness, educational disadvantage and mental health.

From government departments and local governments; large, medium and small business; community organisations and community groups, we’ll be able to provide an event, talk or professional development workshop to meet your needs.

We work with a variety local, state and federal government departments, educational institutions, service delivery organisations, social enterprises, and non-profit organisations.

Registration is required as tickets are limited.

Registration pages are hosted by the Local Governments that are hosting the events. Registrations are subject to the associated Local Government’s Privacy Policy. Beneath the Surface doesn’t collect your details from these events.
